Elementary School
Students at Good Tree participate in a diverse and sequential curriculum that is aimed at preparing students to be American Muslim scholars and leaders. Instruction is given in core, religious, and enrichment classes. We offer Academic programs guided by Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) to prepare our students with a knowledge base that will help them for higher education.
CURRICULUM
Religion
Our Religious curriculum focuses on the emotional, spiritual, and internal nurturing and growth of students through program offerings in Islamic studies, Quranic Arabic, Memorization of the Quran, and Recitation and Fluency of the Quran.
Hifz-ul Quran (Quran Memorization) is at the heart of our religious program.
Integration of religious perspectives with academic subjects is done to help students acquire a well-balanced approach to life and make connections independently between the two.
Enrichment Classes
Enrichment classes, such as computer, Library, and physical education, are an integral part of fostering student's individual talents, as well as encouraging creativity and developing skills to lead a healthy, balanced life.
